On March 2nd, UCLA’s groundbreaking faculty and today’s leading tech companies came together at NextFest 2017, UCLA’s inaugural summit of ideas and tech, presented by FuturizeX and the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design students share their innovative work and research with interactive exhibits that use augmented reality and smart materials that are sensitive to human touch and light.

Over 600+ guests attended the sold out event, and we were thrilled to see so much excitement throughout the evening.  Made up of a tech showcase, UCLA Anderson Ideas Campfire, and Fireside Chats with industry giants including Netflix, Virgin Galactic, and Google’s Self-Driving car project, NextFest 2017 was a evening filled with hands on experiences and incredible insights and conversation.

Special thanks to everyone who joined us and participated in NextFest 2017, including Waymo, Netflix, DAQRI, Virgin Galactic, Techstars, Tesla, and Happy Returns. View more photos from NextFest 2017, including Bosco’s Multicam photo experience above, by clicking here.
